I don't know what to be without you around,

Alright, so super updates since the beginning of summer. SUPER.

First of all, this summer was one of the greatest I've ever had in my life. I am not joking around. This is serious business. I am so thankful to have such a great group of friends with minimal drama, and I know how lucky I am to have such a great guy and all of that jazz. Basically, I had a lot of crazy nights, and a lot of great memories to hold onto. There are updates on other fronts, as well.

So I went to Florida for the first time. Not a big fan of planes, now that I have successfully been on two plane rides. They made me feel like I was in a bubble. Wahhh. Not cool. But I survived a plane ride with a hangover from the epic proportioned night before...where many things happened...I blame Cory for it all, lol. But other than that I absolutely fucking LOVE Florida. Everyday was worth it. Ryan's parents were great, and so nice to us, and we got spoiled the whole time, but we stayed in an epic ritzy resort, and it was right on the beach, and it was the most amazing time I ever had. Unfortunately, that's the turning point of when my life turned from carefree teenager having a good time to young adult ready to face life's realities.

My boyfriend, Ryan, got accepted into a great school with a program for Nuclear Energy Technology, which is basically a random field where many jobs are available and needed and you can make a lot of money. Basically. But it is in Carney's Point, New Jersey, while his home, family, and girlfriend are in Massachusetts. It is 5 hours and 200 miles away from here. So, so different. I never thought a moment would change my life so much. The day we got back from Florida, he had to immediately pack and get ready to leave - the next morning. Now you may call me pathetic. You may think I'm crazy for missing him, but we literally spent every day of the summer together one way or another. So this is a big deal. The night before he left was very sad. We went over our friend's house with our group for the last time for a while, and we all took a shot of vodka in his memory, honestly, lol. But it was a commemorative moment, so to speak. And I cried, a lot, and we both couldn't really handle not seeing each other whenever we pleased, and being long distance, and yadda yadda ya.

We are currently far apart, and have been for a week. And every weekend he comes back my heart falls out of my chest, and he takes it with him when he leaves again. And it will be like that for the next three years. And the second he graduates, I am so there. We will always be together. I feel like I am one of the few girls who can truly believe that. I just know he's the one. As corny as it is. But it's so true.

Other than the sad business, I have started my junior year and I'm excited and so, so scared.

I don't think I'm gonna get used to being so "old," basically everyone around me driving and getting jobs and having real life problems, it's so surreal. I'm not used to it. It seems like literally yesterday that all I cared about was coloring inside the lines. Pretty soon I'll be driving, 17 years old, and with my college boyfriend of 2 years. Holy fucking shit. Excuse me. But honestly? If I was 5th grade me looking at future 11th grade me, I wouldn't believe how lucky I got. It's still surreal how far I've come. My sister and I will be 21 and 17 soon. What the FUCK, you know?

I guess you could say I updated quite a bit, I mean, I'm still the same old goofy Lucy, and I will always be a little kid inside. But for now I'll play the role of grown-up responsible Lucy, who is 16 going on 17 and ready to face the real world soon enough.

I'll be back again,

Goodbye, Blogger!

I could hold you in my arms, I could hold you forever

Alright, I haven't logged into this in a while. Updates on Lucy? MANY.

So, first off, out of school, it is now summertime. I'm officially a Junior in high school. Scary.

Other than that, I couldn't really tell you. I don't change often. Boyfriend is the same, friends are sort of the same, and all is well.

SO much great news on the vacation front. I'm going to Vermont next week for three days, then ryan's father invited me to FUCKING FLORIDA. Excuse the language, this is exciting as hell. I haven't been on a plane, or outside of this region, ever. I am so excited. SO EXCITED. And his sister is really pissed off and not wanting to visit her own father because of VERY stupid reasons: Wants to be with boyfriend in Massachusetts, doesn't want to be a third wheel, firmly believes her boyfriend of 5 months should have been invited along with ryan's girlfriend of almost 2 years, firmly believes Ryan is the favorite. Alright. Let's all say it. She is really stupid. I know SO many people who would kill to see their fathers and really would jump at the opportunity, and she runs away from each one he gives her. She sees him, what, 3 times a year? If that? And she complains. Look. That's stupid. With my recent news about my own father I really am disappointed in her.

That recent news is actually semi-serious, and it's pretty much turning my world upside down. My dad just recently went to the urologist to be tested for prostate cancer, and they found a small bundle of cancerous cells. You know what? That sucks. I think of my dad as a superhero, and now he has this "cancer" business, and I seriously believed it just would never happen to anyone I knew, especially someone as important to me as him. I really am concerned, but since everyone has 100% assured me that it is NOT a serious case and can be cured within one surgery, I'm still freaking out. Words like cancer, chemotherapy, radiation, they're scary as shit. That's why I'm so disappointed in someone like Breanne, like, why would you hate your father? He may be part of a divorce, but at least he STUCK AROUND. He might not be in this state, but he pays for your plane ticket to visit every time. Idk. It's dumb for me to be this involved, but it is pretty disappointing.

Other news? Not really much. I mean, my life is pretty content. I have an amazing start to my summer and some really great nights ahead of me. There is nothing more exciting to me than shopping for my new bathing suit. As much as I dread my horrific skinny-minnie body in a suit, I guess it's exciting since I'm growing and older and whatnot. Eh. I just want to SHOP.

Idk what else I can say. I really can't wait for these summer parties that better be goin' down. My goal is to party at a concert but that probably will not happen, I'm okay with that I guess, I'm just so stoked for all that summer has to offer.

I type too many paragraphs. I think I shall listen to some great acoustic music, and just SLEEP, man. I need to get up early for this Tag Sale business at my house tomorrow, anyways. I guess I'll bounce out now.

Goodnight, Blogger (:

Oops I did it again..

Yeah, so maybe I forgot something. The whole game plan behind me blogging was because I wanted to rant and it's late and no one listens to me anyways.

First off, went on formspring and someone told the girl I hate that she was a bitch. LOVED IT. I hate her so fucking much. I feel swearing coming on, by the by. This girl is what I like to call a "one-upper." She decides that if you have 2 bracelets you made yourself, she will show off the 14 she made in 5 minutes. She acts as if everyone is below her, and she insults everyone backhandedly, and I cannot stand it. Something about her is off, so I avoid her as much as I can.

Another thing. Ryan's mother is seriously psychotically out of hand. She yells about everything. She criticizes ryan's every move. She will not LEAVE THINGS ALONE. Like, your son is weeks away from becoming a 19 year old MAN. Fucking leave your high horse and stop acting like you control his life. Yes, he knows whether or not to shut the light off. Just because he was finishing the last bite of his sandwich does not mean you can yell and be a condescending whore about things by telling him he wouldn't have done it anyway. Ryan is the type of person who is given NO credit for all of the amazing things he does. I am not being a typical spoiling girlfriend here, either. Ryan works full physical labor from 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon, sometimes he goes overtime and does favors for other people who aren't capable to do yard work, and he goes into a 12 or 13 hour day. THEN, he needs to come home and shower, and he just wants a second to relax, but since his parents feel like he's done NOTHING all day, they yell and tell him this, that he "does nothing for them around the house." He's too busy trying to pay off his fucking car insurance that YOU don't help him out with, ever, at all, and he still lives under your roof, and he is still your spawn, yet the help doesn't come easy. The poor boy gets no positive attention from these people and they could care less that he's leaving to another state in the fall because they don't have enough faith to think he's even GRADUATING. They treat their daughter like the perfect girl and she never gets yelled at. Seriously, only for dumb stuff, because she's great at sucking up and not saying anything. Unfair. In actuality, Ryan has potential to do anything, and his confidence is busted down by his mother and step dad, because they can't find it in their hearts to have the slightest exchange of niceties with their oldest son.

To me? That's pathetic. I never appreciated how great my parents treated me until I saw what shit Ryan receives from his own. Even his REAL mother can't ever find it in her heart to NOT be a bitch, and to give him credit. She breaks him down like a bully, as if that's a successful parenting method. It's not. Newsflash. Whatever, I guess I'll be done ranting about such things.

I absolutely need to sleep. It's hot-ish and I'm tired and I need to make progress enough on my rough draft so I can finish it in class tomorrow. I cannot take the pressure to get it done, but whatevs for now.

I hope I don't get sick of it and fall asleep...eeeeep.

GOODNIGHT BLOGGER! (:

High is the way, but our eyes are upon the ground,

Alright, I haven't "blogged" in a while. Apparently that IS a real word...anyways.

My life has been quite busy since April. It's now May. I have 16 days left of my sophomore year, and now I am extremely terrified that my adult life is starting to begin. Right now I'm living in the moment. Unfortunately, Ryan's last day is tomorrow. and then he'll be done with high school. forever. holy shit. I don't know what I can do without him. He's definitely my rock, and how I keep sane during the school day, and he's my best friend, and I choke up if I think about him gone. It's pathetic, really. But you don't know the half of it - his future college plans lie 4 hours away from here in NEW JERSEY. What the hell? New jersey? That's fuckin' far. 'Scuse the french. But that's seriously far for us. Our only separation happens when he goes to visit his dad in FL. Speaking of...I have to meet his real father and step-mother for the first time EVER at his graduation. Like, I don't remember being that nervous to meet his mom and step-dad. It's probably because I know I have to impress his father. He, yes, is the same guy who hasn't been around in years, and I'm probably more familiar with his son on a daily basis than he is. Thank god he isn't jerky or neglectful. But he's a big deal, cause that's who Ryan resembles most.

Other than those freaky future plans, my ears, are STILL BLOCKED. This time around I am praying to God it is allergies. But I can't be sure, so I'm toughing it out. I'm pretty happy with my personal life other than missing ryan, however. My three best, Kaity, Lauren, and Christiana, are all arranging to hang with me tomorrow. Hopefully I can squeeze them in after staying after in the library for a stupid health project. I just want it over with. I'm like that with everything at the end of the year. I just realized I was supposed to do a map, but with this other big stuff due I can't afford to pass that in on time. I hope I end up doing well on my history book critique, because that's a large grade that will bring me to a 90 for sure. I would appreciate that for my final grades so it won't be a C. whatevs. School is stressful, and this is me avoiding my research paper. I dislike rough drafts immensely.

The weather, by the by, is incredibly hot and sticky. And my house does not have central air, A/C, nothin'. I have to tough this out the old-fashioned way. And I hate that. I think I'll consider wrapping this up since I have to go to bed as early as possible while still finishing my rough draft of my research paper. The one thing I dislike most in this world is that paper, and its ridiculous time frame to finish it in. Which, in my opinion, is a direct result of the teacher's stupidity and lack of thinking ahead. Ah. I guess if I throw something together that ends up as 11 paragraphs I can convert it from piece-o-shit to AMAZING by Friday, hopefully. I need extra points. Seriously..

ALRIGHT. Time for beddy-bye. Lucy needs to compensate for the FOUR HOURS of sleep received the night prior.

Goodnight Blogger World, keep those wet dreams to a minimum.

I been through the desert on a horse with no name,

Wow. I don't know where to start. I feel shitty, to say the least.

I'm trying to stay positive but I am so pissed that my whole vacation was wasted on endless coughing, blowing my nose, and now 2 ear infections AND a sinus infection. excuse my language, but how the FUCK does that happen? that is so sucky. I can't even begin on how much I DON'T wanna be in school. I did have some great times on my vacation, regardless of my shitty shitty sickness that won't ever end.

I'm also very enraged at this so-called "doctor" I had on friday who "diagnosed" me with nothing, ultimately. She was extremely unintelligent. I'm pretty sure I told her my ear felt blocked and my nose was producing a color that was prone to infection. However, she told me all that was wrong was "some blockage" and I needed a NASAL SPRAY. ya know, simple stuff, she preached that it works miracles and got my hopes up very high. After discovering this obviously didn't work, the annoying-ness that is my blocked ear developed. I call this so-called "doctor" and she tells me it's a SIDE EFFECT of the NASAL SPRAY. Seriously?! There is no fucking way that is possible, even in medicine. So, I basically told my mom if it's not better by Monday then I'm going to a different doctor. 'Nuff said.

Long story short, some fake doctor bitch told me that all I needed was nasal spray when I had actually developed 2 ear infections and a sinus infection. Fuckin' bitches go to doctor school for most of their young lives and diagnose a fuckin' ear infection wrong. Bitchbitchbitch. I am not happy. But I am trying to be. I guess that's a start :/

I will now proceed to pout and sit at home and work on things I don't want to do for a school I don't want to go to, especially in my weakened state, but whatever. Fuck it, I'm done. As optimistic as I am, even this will not bring me 100% downhill. I am hostile and angry and upset and no one understands how it feels to be obsolete. Because, surprisingly, that's what this sickness feels like. It feels like I am completely trapped inside my own head and I can't talk to anyone without gasping for breath, because I can't breathe out of my nose, and I can't hear out of my left ear, and I can't move my head without all this shitty junk sloshing around in there, and it SUCKS. I also can't enjoy my food, because since I am so clogged in all parts of my head/nose, I can't taste. So there you have it, that's me trying to be optimistic.

Surprised it's not working? Try being me right now. As selfish as it may sound, this really does suck. I can't even kiss my boyfriend for a minute without gasping for breath and pushing him away for clear air to breathe in. THIS BLOWS.

Eh, if it doesn't get better I will plan to pull a Van Gogh and just get rid of the ear.
Who needs it, anyways?

Goodbye, Blogger!

wear the grudge like a crown,

Alright, I have much to speak about.

So I might talk extra-proper cause I'm doing my english homework on julius caesar, so I have that tone of proper english in my head. waah. anywho. I'll talk about my three day fuckin' weekend. It was literally the best thing. It felt just like summer. I don't even know where to start.

Thursday night? We hung out with the boys, me and ryan of course, then went to taco bell. 2 five layers and a mountain dew. we spotted geena and her boyfriend, who is ryan's cousin and one of my best friends, haha, and that was awesome since I never see her (: Then, we proceeded to Evan Menard's house and we hung out there. There was pong, and we were okay, and there was ryan with his cool cigar, ya know, all that jazz. I just had a great fuckin' time. Me and ryan "grinded" which I never do with him, I feel like it's trashy sometimes, but it was to Miley Cyrus :P go figure. I thought we had a pretty great time, and we left at midnight and it was good.

Now for Good Friday, it was sort of a dull day but it was super nice outside, and me and ryan got to see each other, it's safe to say I spend a lot of my time with that boy, for good reason. But we basically hung with his friends then, and went home early to sleep. It was still good though.

Saturday...was awesome. Ryan worked until 2 or 3 I think, and we spent time together outside in the sun on a blanket, then when his brother got home we hung with him and we all went to ryan's band practice, which was ehh, cause his drummer bailed for the first hour :P But that went well because beforehand we decided to go play pong and hang at his friend Henry's house afterward, and I loved that idea cause it felt like a real saturday night. So when band practice ceased, off we went, and it was a great time from then on. We won championships upon championships, and it was sick.

Now for Easter Sunday! I woke up early to shower and become pretty for Brunch at ryan's aunt's home, who is an AMAZING cook and she always cooks the best breakfast foods (signature dishes and whatnot) for easter. So we had all that great food there, and since it was super nice outside and I was in a sundress, of course, me and ryan and his cousin all went for a drive in the mustang. Meaning-lucy freaking out in the backseat while joe and ryan take turns at 50 or so...but it was fun as hell. Then, me and ryan wasted the rest of the day together by putting our blanket in the sun and napping together, and we both got tan from that, but we were both so tired and laughed when we woke up. After that we just spent our day together. I love lazy Sundays.

Basically I had a pretty badass weekend, and it was pretty great in my opinion.
I wish everyday was free like that, because school is really holding me back.
Anyways, I think I'll go now (:

Goodbye, blogworldpeople! ;)

Sunday, March 28, 2010

I like you a lot, lot, think you're really hot, hot

oh wow, so much to discuss with the blogger world.

So, very very sadly, Footloose is finally done. We had an amazing time as a cast what with all the rehearsals and hard work to get to our three great performances, which went very well with all three audiences (hopefully). Our three directors definitely deserved the bouquets they received, and Greg even got everyone in the cast each a flower, which was very sweet! haha. anywho, I'm extremely sad it's over, but unlike most, I have a couple years left to make more memories. I won't forget this one, even though I was just background, it was awesome to see us all come together for 3 amazing nights.

Speaking of amazing, CAST PARTY MUCH!? That shit was bananas, excuse my language. We held it in a banquet hall where the main character works, and it was so friggin' fun. We all danced crazily, even our directors did it, so it was a great time. it was semi-formal and I was so happy I came to it. Then after that, I hung out with all of ryan's guy friends, and it was a pretty damn fun way to end a night after dancing my ass off. March 25/26/27th will probably be the best three nights of my singing/acting/performing life, because I had an incredible time with everyone on the cast. I guess I'm reminiscing because I know I miss it already. as much stress that I accumulated from rehearsing all the time, it was completely worth it. even on friday, we slept at kristina's and that just made me feel so great I had made friends from this. I will miss each and every one of the seniors, so incredibly much, because some of them I just became close with this year, and I hate it that they have to go.

All in all, best three nights (separate from the rest of my social life) were AMAZING.
I'm glad I spent it with such great people, I mean, who wouldn't blog about it after? ;)

Sunday, March 21, 2010

did you exchange a walk-on part in the war, for a lead role in a cage?

so hello blogger. I can tell this will become a big deal for me in the next few weeks. lmao. I have fads and phases that come and go. today was a hectic, yet fun day. I started off by trying to convince my hate-holiday boyfriend to go to the st. patrick's parade with me. everyone knows those things are only fun if you're fuckin' wasted though. excuse the language. then after that him, my mom and I went to the Summerhouse, and it was amazing, then me and ryan cruised back to his house to work on his car. I help him bleed his brakelines, aka I pump the brakes when he says, lol.

Currently, I'm listening to dave matthews on Eddie Vedder radio on pandora. wow to all those prepositions. anyways. I'm just contemplating why ryan's mother acts the way she does. I'm the type of person to dig deeper to find out why people act the certain ways that they do, and I analyze situations with people all the time lately. that's why I felt being a psychology major would suit me well. or sociology. haha, I don't care now anyways ;) anywho, Suzanne (ryan's mother) has been yelling randomly at her 18 year old son. that's about the time the momma bird kicks the baby out of the nest, donchya think? yup. so whatever to that. I will self-explore later.

Other things that I've been thinking about, dealing with, etc. is the issue of all those little arguments that me and ryan have had lately. they seem to be my fault. well. sort of. here goes this self-analyzing thing again; I seem to find little ways that he acts the slightest bit "guy-ish" so to speak, and I blow it out of proportion in my brain, then proceed to make things awkward until I snap out of it. it seems my brain is on Prince Charming mode, whilst no man acts like a Prince Charming 100% of the time. I guess I raised my standards a little too high, but I will only lower them out of la-la-land. Now that is that.

I guess I should wrap up considering I have a hell of a week ahead of me. List of things to do this week?
-English MCAS (graduation requirement, for those who don't know)
-Rehearsals all throughout, then shows on Thurs., Fri., and Sat.
-whatever homework/projects are given to me
-start reading for english research paper (except I'm super excited to have Jack London as a topic)

You get the gist. my life is more of a mess than is listed, because I have a boyfriend who I would rather be spending all my time with, because he leaves soon, being a senior, and I'm pissed. I guess my biggest fear is what I will act/be like when he isn't there to back me up. I near tears every single time I think of him being 4 or 5 hours away from me. I am terrified. I guess I should deal with what time I have left. For those who scoff at that 4 hours away comment, I really am in love with him. that's like ripping a part of my heart out of me and placing it that far away from me. quite literally. Idk, I guess I will stop rambling on about nothing. maybe I'll write some music. we shall see what the future holds. I will end up writing post-footloose most likely.

Goodnight, Blogger! (:

I JUST DIED IN YOUR ARMS TONIGHT

Hello blogger world :) I'm just sitting in my home all showered and pretty waiting for ryan to be done with work. god knows he didn't shower or shave. that'll be later, lol. it's amazingly beautiful outside today. 70 and sunny :D it makes me quite happy. I didn't have much happen today, I mean, I slept in my new footloose shirt, and I had a great rehearsal and randomly fun friday. I'm thrilled how the the show is coming together, I feel like I'm doing great as a background character ;P but really, I'm not afraid to sing out which I used to fear very much.

yesterday is worth talking about. my day in school was the best in weeks. I mean, I was a couple minutes late to first period, but I wore a dress for the first time this year (: and I just went about my business in english. I chose my author for my research paper topic (Jack London) and I'm friggin' excited. I wore the dress because of the Italian Sing Day Competition. he gets all the best 6 singers in each class and we compete; our group decided to be is dress shirts and sundresses and it worked well (: going back to 1st period, I walked out, and my ryan was ALL decked out in a full 3 piece suit. I was amazed and shocked and happy, cause he pulls off suits VERY nicely. after that I wasted some time in health, sang footloose in chorus, ya know. went to math, good times with val & bre takin' my shoes. history was easy to deal with, science came and went, then ITALIAN :D we came in looking nicest, sounding the best, singing Quando M'Innamoro. Best song ever. and we WON! I got a nice t-shirt for that, and some candy. then rehearsal came and went from 2 - 5, and my day started. Idk, I felt like my school day was eventful for once. and I am now rambling. off to waste time on the 'net. and currently listening to michael jackson. PANDORA<3333

getting started?

Hey, I'm lucy. I saw one of my friends make one of these and I decided I'd give it a shot. So yeah, my life is pretty basic. I'm 16, I live with both my 'rents, I have an 18 year old boyfriend who's been by my side for a little over a year, and I am as social as possible. Currently, I'm backup in the school musical, Footloose, and I love EVERY second of it. I'm addicted to coffee, taco bell, and slushies :P. I don't really have much to say, I mean, music is really my life. I dedicate my soul to writing, singing, and sometimes playing instruments (not lately). And honestly, I am an overachiever/procrastinator combo when it comes to school, yet an honor student. I am quite determined.

Anyways, I guess I could talk about how my life is going emotionally? Eh sure, why not. I love everyone I have been spending time with lately. I am in love with my life. My boyfriend is really my rock, there is nothing better than having a best friend/partner combination. I seriously am in love with this boy, if you don't know me. I do spend pretty much every moment with him, but that is because he is leaving for college in New Jersey. That is quite far from MA. I will do my damnedest to crunch in time spent with him. There haven't been any issues lately, I mean, I had one of my girly breakdowns because of all the time these musical rehearsals take up. Naturally, my hormones went freaaky-deakky and I broke doowwwwnnn. All is well now. Basically my life revolves around this musical until March 27th. Shit. That sucks. I don't care. I feel I've rambled enough and wasted enough of your time, to whom it may concern.

Goodbye, Blogger! (:
